The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Richard McKeagan Scholarship. Since 2006, the program has awarded over $150,000 to students and apprentices across Canada pursuing careers in mechanical contracting, engineering, and related fields. This year’s increase in applications reflects a growing interest among young professionals in the mechanical contracting industry and highlights the importance of investing in the next generation of skilled workers.
Charles Webb, President of MCAC, commented on this year’s recipients: “The dedication and potential shown by the 2024 recipients are encouraging. These individuals represent the future of our industry, and we are pleased to support them as they advance their careers.“
MCAC also acknowledges the ongoing support of its associate members, whose contributions make this scholarship program possible. Their commitment helps ensure the development of a skilled and capable workforce for the industry’s future.
